La Chouffe, a Belgian blond beer that was first brewed in 1982 by the brothers in law Pierre Gobron and Chris Bauweraerts. It started as a hobby, which gradually grew into the brewery / distillery and tavern Brasseried'Achouffe. Since 2006 it is fully owned by the brewery Duvel Moortgat in Puurs. La Chouffe was excluding barrel for a long time alone in big bottles of 75 cl and 1.5 liters are available, but the beer is also bottled in bottles of 33 cl since May 2009. The brewer recommends La Chouffe to drink at a temperature of 4 to 10 ° C.
